The View across the valley from the collection of Exclusive villas known as the Villa Luwak. Luwak refers to the small civet animal that is famous for eating the coffee beans for their outer shell. The coffee bean then passes through the digestive system of this animal exiting as a perfect but structurally different coffee bean. These beans are then collected and sold to make a rare and exclusive type of coffee. This coffee has built a world reputation for its taste and substance. It is said that a coffee made from the civet bean can be purchased in New York at $45 per cup.

As for the villas named after this animal the Villa Luwak collection, they came to the market during November of this year (2011) and are situated on a hill just to the east of Ubud, approx 4km. They are lucky in so far as they enjoy fantastic views across the rain forest and paddy fields below, you couldn't wish for a better place for a relaxing break in this marvelous artisan location known as Ubud. Each of the five villas are secluded and private within their own grounds, each has a pool which is furnished with the usual loungers and tables and chairs etc.

The main lobby area has all the facilities of a boutique hotel complete with initmate restaurant which enjoys the views across the valley. There is an additional pool main pool as part of the lobby area if you wish to mix with other guests during your stay here.

Equally important as this are is known for its many restaurants that each have there own style and location, some on river bank and valleys, others situated amongst rice fields etc.
